Wesley Sneijder’s agent has revealed that talks over a new deal at Inter Milan have broken down and he is not happy with the club.

Goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak has admitted he may be forced to look for a transfer from Manchester United.

Kuszczak is now in his sixth season at Old Trafford but will be making only his 53rd appearance when he lines up for tonight’s Carling Cup tie at Scunthorpe.

Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson is prepared to offload Lucas to fund a January bid for Udinese battler Gokhan Inler.

Lucas, 23, has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield since the arrival of Raul Meireles and Christian Poulsen this summer. Despite scoring against Steaua Bucharest on Thursday night, the Brazil international was an unused substitute in Sunday’s 3-2 defeat to Manchester United.

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has revealed he is willing to let goalkeeper Shay Given leave in January.

Given has been displaced as City’s number one by Joe Hart this season and has not featured in any of the club’s eight fixtures.

Speaking after City’s 2-0 win at Wigan, Mancini said: “I told him that he can stay but I respect his decision and if he wants to leave he can.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is considering a move for Celtic’s Scott Brown as he looks to beef up his midfield options but the Old Trafford manager will reportedly have to fend off interest in the Scottish international from the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan who are apparently both interested in the box to box performer.

Ghana star Anthony Annan is hoping to secure his dream move to the Premier League in January.
The Rosenborg midfielder has been strongly linked some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Annan has made no secret of his desire to leave his Norwegian club but was unable to force through a move during the summer transfer window.

Toronto FC is removing from their positions director of soccer Mo Johnston and head coach Preki. Johnston, who has been with the club since its inaugural 2007 season, hired Preki for this season in hopes that his former teammate (with the Kansas City Wizards 1996-2000 and Everton 1992-93) would guide Toronto to the playoffs for the first time.

Everton remain interested in Landon Donovan despite LA Galaxy’s massive asking price of £11m.
David Moyes is a big fan of the American, who enjoyed a productive loan spell at Goodison last season.
Donovan scored twice in 13 games for Everton and became a fans favourite at the club before he starred for America at the World Cup.
Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy insist Donovan is going nowhere but sources at the club claim they would listen to offers of around £11m for the 28-year-old.
