Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt will be out for as long as a month because of the ankle injury he sustained playing for the Netherlands this week. British newspapers had reported that Kuyt could be out of action until next year but Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson said Thursday that “if it can be done in three weeks, it will be three.” Liverpool says Kuyt twisted his right ankle and damaged ligaments.
Wesley Sneijder’s agent has revealed that talks over a new deal at Inter Milan have broken down and he is not happy with the club.
Sneijder has emerged as one of the finest players in the world over the past 12 months after joining Inter from Real Madrid last summer.

Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt could be poised to rejoin former coach Rafa Benitez at Inter Milan. The Dutch international’s agent Rob Jansen told Voetbal International: “Yes, there is real interest from Inter, but Dirk has not yet decided if he wants to leave Liverpool. “He may move to Inter or just stay at Liverpool. There is also the possibility that a player from Inter could be included in the deal with Dirk Kuyt.”
