Leaks of the Mexico adidas 2011/12 away jersey have been circulating on the web for over two weeks so far. Now thanks to Carlos we’ve run into an eBay listing of the shirt from a sports shop in Santa Ana, CA of what purports to be an authentic version of the new El Tri away kit. Here’s a look at pictures from the eBay listing. The official launch of the Mexico adidas 2011/12 home and away jerseys is scheduled for March 25th. The team meets Paraguay and Venezuela in international friendly action on March 26th and 29th in California, USA.

De La Torre will take up the job as national boss in January and has agreed a contract that runs until the end of the 2014 World Cup cycle.

Elderly striker Cuauhtemoc Blanco shot to international fame this summer as the oldest goalscorer in the tournament, bagging a penalty during Mexico’s 2-0 group stage romp over France.
After the tournament, Blanco, a legend in his homeland, returned to the relative quiet of Division 2 football. Now he’s back! Preparing to play a fireman in a Mexican TV drama series – alongside inescapable flirt Larissa Riquleme.

Club Universidad Nacional A.C., more commonly known as Pumas de la UNAM or just Pumas, has released a limited edition commemorative jersey in recognition of 100th anniversary of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Though a professional club, Pumas represents the university (the largest in Mexico) and plays its home matches at El Olímpico Universitario on UNAM’s main campus.

Mexico have suspended Carlos Vela and Efrain Juarez for six months after the duo breached rules on international duty.
The British-based pair, as well as Guillermo Ochoa, Maza Rodriguez, Carlos Salcido, Andres Guardado, Gerardo Torrado, Pablo Barrera, Giovani dos Santos, Chicharito Hernandez, Rafael Marquez, Enrique Esqueda and Hector Moreno, were also handed 50,000 pesos (£2,517) fines.
