Veteran defender C.J. Brown announced Thursday he’ll end his playing career after the Chivas match.  Brown, who had been considering retirement but planned to make his decision after the season, made it official before the Fire took off for Los Angeles. He said the team’s disappointing 8-12-9 record had nothing to do with his decision.
