In our honest opinion, an one-minute video about the making of Lamborghini Aventador J simply doesn’t do the ultra exclusive super car any justice. Instead, the film should be a full-length feature, just we can savor every image of it since now the one-off vehicle belongs to a private collector (who unloaded US$ 2.75 million for it). A sight that would make a grown man weak at the knees, the Aventador J was a platform for Lamborghini to implement all of its faculties and really push the limits of what they could do. Though only one sample was made, the lessons learned during the production process of Aventador J will certainly find their ways to future Lamborghini vehicles. After all the conjecture and rigamarole, we can now unveil the highly anticipated A Bathing Ape x Comme des Garcons Play capsule collection, a relatively straightforward assortment of graphic logo tees. Comprised of eight different t-shirt styles, many of the graphics prominently feature — what else? — the CDG Play hearts logo and BAPE 1st camo. A pair of allover designs are joined by more low-profile styles, in which the hearts logo is displayed front and center. For Instagram addicts who want to be able to hold actual prints in their hands, New York-based startup BREAKFAST has unveiled Instaprint. The wi-fi enabled device is a mobile photo booth containing a printer that can be assigned a specific hashtag or location, allowing it to print out all Instagrams with those specific tags, comments and all. There’s a quaint Polaroid aspect to the proceedings, as the printers utilize inkless printing technology. Instaprint is on crowdsourced funding platform Kickstarter with an ambitious target of $ 500,000 by the end of April. A $ 399 investment will get you your own Instaprint system, with a potential September delivery date.
