Rangers and USMNT star DaMarcus Beasley joined the Gold Firm as he launched his own jewelry collection.

The American winger hosted a glitzy bash for his team-mates and other VIPs in Glasgow.

The 27-year-old is the first footballer in the world to have his own range – said: “I’ve loved jewellery since I was a kid.

“I always wanted to do something with jewelry.

I think of myself as edgy, different and unique and I wanted to make something that reflected who I was.

I want it to be something I can be proud of and I want it to grow. I had no idea I was the first, I’m very proud of it.”

The ace launched his collection at private members club 29. The range was co-designed by Summera Shaheen, from The Diamond Studio.

Beasley was joined at the event by his teammates Maurice Edu and Madjid Bougherra. He even sported one of his own designs – a one-off £3,800 black and white diamond band ring he had designed for himself.

Fellow American Edu, 23, was wearing one of Beasley’s £150 diamond rings.

And Bougherra, 27, revealed he was going to have his pal design a piece for him.

He said: “He’s passionate about it and he has style.”
